BAY SHORE, NY—After some delay, Rock City Dogs in Bay Shore opened this week to the public. The gourmet hot dog eatery has a '70's music theme and will offer different custom hot dog types, craft beers, and a walk-up takeout window.

The owner of Rock City Dogs Stevie Reno told Patch in November that the restaurant was inspired by his past as a rock musician. The restaurant's motto is "eat, drink, rock" and the menu was created by Chef Jonathan Contest from eatMosaic in St. James. The menu is full of musical nods too, like Zeppelin Dog and The Springsteen.

Rock City Dogs is at 3 E. Main St.
