Kathleen Brown, a resident of Bay Shore, has been promoted to secretary to the president at Farmingdale State College.

Kathleen Brown, a resident of Bay Shore, has been promoted to secretary to the president at Farmingdale State College.
Brown has worked at the College since 2013 in various positions. Her current job – which she will hold until assuming her duties in the president’s office in May – is administrative coordinator in the Office for Administration & Finance, and the Research Foundation.
“Working at Farmingdale State College has been, and I’m sure it will continue to be, a wonderful experience,” Brown said. “I’m so grateful for the opportunities I’ve had here, and am looking forward to working in the president’s office.”

Brown is a Stony Brook University graduate, and holds a BA. An animal lover, she has worked at a veterinary hospital and animal shelter.
