BAY SHORE, NY — For the second year in a row the Bay Shore/ Brightwaters St. Patrick's Day Parade will not go on. The 2020 and now 2021 parades were called off due to concerns over the coronavirus pandemic.

"After much thought and consideration, we the Committee of the Bay Shore/Brightwaters Parade have decided to cancel our Parade for 2021, as the health and well-being of our participants and spectators is our highest priority. We look forward to seeing you all in 2022, and wish you all nothing but health and wellness in the upcoming months. " the committee posted on the parade's official website.
