Drive-In Movies Returning To Bay Shore For 2021

After the old-fashioned drive-in movie experience made a comeback in 2020 because of the pandemic, they will be coming back in 2021.

BAY SHORE, NY — Old-fashioned drive-in movies made a comeback in 2020 thanks to the coronavirus, and now will be returning once again in 2021.

Movie Lot Drive-In, the drive-in movie experience which launched in 2020 to address the need for entertainment amid the pandemic, is back starting April 9.

Guests will have the chance to watch movies on a giant 52-foot screen, the largest on Long Island.

"While movie theaters remain closed and restrictions on public gatherings are still enforced, we’re confident that people will continue to search for fun and safe things to do," Lauren Powers, Senior Director at Starfish Junction said. "We’re working hard to create a great season with special events surrounding the movies being shown."
