Winner Declared in NY 7th District Assembly Race

Incumbent Andrew Garbarino (R) beat out challenger Tom Murray (D).

LONG ISLAND, NY - Long Island residents got the chance to vote for the representative of New York's Seventh Assembly District this Election Day.

Incumbent Andrew Garbarino (R) was challenged by Tom Murray (D).

According to the unofficial results, with 101 out of the 102 of the precincts reporting, Garbarino took the lead with 27,184 votes while Murray took a total of 18,671 votes.
