Election Day is finally here. Check out what you need to know before hitting the polls today.

BAY SHORE, NY — Election Day is finally here, and thousands of residents are going to be casting their ballots today for the 2020 election. Voters in Bay Shore who haven't voted early will now have a chance to make their voices heard.
In addition to the presidential and congressional races, people on Long Island will also be casting their ballots for the state Assembly and Senate, as well as their representative in Congress. Voting will be different this year in light of the coronavirus pandemic.
Polls in New York are open until 9 p.m. on Election Day.
