The annual fall event will continue through the end of the month.

BAY SHORE, NY — The Fall Harvest has once again returned to Brightwaters Farms this month. The annual event kicked off Oct. 3 at the Bay Shore farm on Manatuck Boulevard. But for those who missed the first couple of weeks, there's still a chance for some fall fun.
The event will continue to the end of the month, with the farm open Wednesday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Guests can purchase a variety of items from the country store including: orchard cider and apples, homemade baked pies, cookies and cider donuts from the country store on site. In addition, the store sells roasted corn on the cob, fresh squeezed lemonade, pumpkins and gourds, straw bales and cornstalks, mums and Halloween decorations.
The farm will also offer pumpkin picking, farm animal feeding, farm playground and hayrides during the week, free of charge. On weekends, admission is $10 which includes access to unlimited hayrides, the farm playground, cartoon characters, animal viewing, a magician show and music by Banjo Rascals.
