Say Hi to Elvis. He is 3-4 years old and weighs 20 pounds. He is a Pug/Poodle/Pomeranian mix from a house with 33 other dogs. Due to this, they had no training in the housebreaking and leash department. They are sweet and ready to learn. Since they came from a house with many other dogs they would do best in a house with other dogs. Elvis would do best in a home with children over 10 years old. Due to their poor nutrition and them being small breed they will need dentals either upon adoption or shortly after.

The Islip Animal Shelter is located on 210 S Denver Avenue in Bay Shore. The shelter is open Monday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. To learn more about the Islip Animal Shelter, visit their Facebook page here.
