Islip Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Kyle

BAY SHORE, NY - If you're looking for a new companion, consider starting your search at a local animal shelter like the Islip Animal Shelter. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, many pets are still looking for their forever homes and shelters are still working to fulfill adoptions.

One of their available pets is Kyle, a 2-year-old male hound mix.

Meet Kyle! He is a 2yr old Hound x waiting for his new best friend to come and adopt him. Kyle is a friendly boy with a lot of playful energy. He loves to go for long walks and would make a great hiking buddy to go on adventures with. He gets along with other dogs but doesn't like to share his food or treats, so would do best as an only dog for now. Kyle is still young and needs an owner willing to give him a chance to learn and grow. He walks nicely on leash and knows his sit and stay commands but still needs training. Due to his possessiveness over food, Kyle needs a home with no children. With the right owner, lots of exercise, love, and some time & training we know Kyle will make a loving and loyal companion.
