Meet Mac! He is a young Pit who came to us on 4/15/20 after being left alone in an abandoned house. He is now up for adoption and waiting for his new best friend to take him home! He is very friendly and loves everyone he meets. Due to his size and pure goofiness, he’d do best in a home with no small children. Mac has tested well with other dogs his size so far, but needs a home with no cats or other small animals. He needs basic obedience training and an owner willing to work with him.

To find out more information on Mac, check out his profile here.

The Islip Animal Shelter is located on 210 S Denver Avenue in Bay Shore. The shelter is open Monday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. To learn more about the Islip Animal Shelter, visit their Facebook page here.
