Say hello to Sadie! She is a 6 yr old energetic Pit who has been here since May of 2019 and is patiently waiting for her forever home. Sadie is very sweet and is friendly with everyone she meets. She is possessive with toys and once she gets a hold of one she does not like to give it up! Due to this Sadie needs to be the only pet in an adult only home. She needs an experienced and committed owner willing to give her time to decompress and the training she needs (on and off leash). We love Sadie here at the shelter and we know the right person for her is out there!

The Islip Animal Shelter is located on 210 S Denver Avenue in Bay Shore. The shelter is open Monday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. To learn more about the Islip Animal Shelter, visit their Facebook page here.
