After a gloomy spring Sunday on Long Island, Monday will feature diminishing clouds with dry conditions as high pressure slowly builds in from the northwest, the National Weather Service says.
Temperatures will be seasonable, with highs in the low-60s.
"Mostly dry weather will return to much of the Northeast and mid-Atlantic for the first half of the week," AccuWeather Meteorologist Brian Thompson says.
