Man Knifed In Bay Shore Lowe's Parking Lot; Attacker Sought
Suffolk police said a two men approached the man and one had a knife.

BAY SHORE, NY — A man was seriously injured after being slashed by a knife-wielding man in Bay Shore on Monday evening, according to Suffolk police.
The 49-year-old man was walking to his car in the parking lot of Lowe’s on 800 Sunrise Highway when he was approached by two men — one carrying a knife, police said.
The attacker slashed the victim, cutting him on his neck and hand, police said. The two men then fled in separate cars, police said. The attack happened at 5:15 p.m.

Detectives believe the victim knew his attackers and was specifically targeted.
The victim was transported to Southside Hospital for treatment of serious injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
