Motorcyclist Killed In North Bay Shore Crash
Michael Joya, 31, of Bay Shore, was driving a Ducati when he collided with a vehicle on Ohio Avenue, Suffolk police said.

NORTH BAY SHORE, NY — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in North Bay Shore Thursday night, according to Suffolk police. Michael Joya, 31, of Bay Shore, was driving a 2009 Ducati south on Ohio Avenue when he struck a westbound 2015 Ford Mustang at the intersection of Delaware Avenue at 9:26 p.m.
Joya was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore and pronounced dead. The driver of the Ford was not injured. Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks.
The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at the Third Squad at 631-854-8352.
