BAY SHORE, NY - A new barbecue joint recently opened in Bay Shore.
Fatwood Southern Kitchen opened its doors last Wednesday on 150 E. Main Street.
The restaurant offers a variety of smoked meats including pulled pork, ribs, brisket, smoked chicken and more.

In addition, customers can also choose from several "Southern hospitality" options including catfish and fried chicken.
The restaurant's chef, Marc Bynum, once had his ribs featured on the cover of O, The Oprah Magazine, as "the best ribs Gayle’s ever tasted," according to a report in Newsday.

The eatery is open from Sunday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 12 a.m.
