New Japanese Restaurant Opens At South Shore Mall

BAY SHORE, NY — A new Japanese eatery recently joined the wide array of restaurants at Bay Shore's Westfield South Shore Mall. Takumi, located on 1701 Sunrise Highway, officially held its soft opening on Feb. 9.
The new business is the sister restaurant to 110 Japan on 179 Walt Whitman Road in Huntington Station. The Japanese restaurant offers both sushi and hibachi. In addition, the large menu includes poke bowls baby back ribs, Vietnamese eggplant fries, peking duck dumplings and more.

On Thursday the business posted on its Facebook page that it is still looking to hire servers.
The eatery is open from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Monday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays.
