The closure comes as many local restaurants are suffering due to the coronavirus pandemic, which the restaurant stated has "impacted all of us, some in different ways than others."

According to the message, A.J's will be "introducing a new plan" over the week which will ensure that residents will still get to enjoy their famous grilled cheese sandwiches. The new plan might mean a limited menu or weekend hours, but the restaurant ensures customers it will "not give up."
