This new, 5,721-square-foot location has six exam rooms and includes X-ray capabilities on site. Patients can get all of their pre-surgical testing needs – blood work, electrocardiogram (EKG) and chest X-ray – in one place.
“To allow patients to get pre-surgical testing done in a more convenient and comfortable environment, we moved this service a short distance away from the hospital to an easily accessible location that provides ample parking,” said Donna Moravick, NP, SSUH’s executive director.

Southside Hospital, which began caring for patients more than 100 years ago, recently changed its name to South Shore University Hospital to reflect the high-quality care provided at the institution as well as its teaching capabilities.
