Stop & Shop Hosts Prom for Associates from Local High Schools

The West Islip Stop & Shop hosted a prom for a dozen associates and their dates. The Stop & Shop prom celebrated those high school seniors (and one junior) who balanced their academic and workplace responsibilities amid the pandemic. The teens attend West Islip and Bay Shore High Schools, and their proms were cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Every teen was named the Stop & Shop Prom King and Queen. Stop & Shop provided a catered dinner and the associates did some socially distanced dancing compliments of a DJ. Stop & Shop Store Manager Willa Kagan says these young people are exemplary and Stop & Shop is very pleased to be able to provide them and their dates with this very special night.
