Winner Declared In Suffolk County 9th Legislative District Race

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY - The results are in! Local residents got the chance to vote for the Suffolk County's 9th Legislative District this Election Day.

Incumbent Samuel Gonzalez (D) beat out challenger by Maria Vidal (R), according to the unofficial results.

With 36 out of 36 of the precincts reporting, Gonzalez received a total of 4,613 votes while Vidal received 1,506 votes.
