Teacher Of The Week: Ms. Samantha Esposito

BAY SHORE, NY — Everybody has a favorite teacher — maybe it's a teacher who went out of their way to make one student's day or a teacher who brightens up a classroom, whether virtually or in-person, every day.

One teacher who deserves a shout-out is Ms. Samantha Esposito, a special education teacher at the Bay Shore School District. She was nominated as this week's Teacher of the Week by Jennifer Dukoff.

According to Dukoff, Esposito "fully invests herself in her students and goes above and beyond on a daily basis."

Here's what Dukoff had to say about Ms. Esposito:

She exemplifies the true honour of the word teacher, and dedicates herself to not only the students but their families. She communicates and updates daily through emails phone calls and is always available to check in with the students or parent. She is an amazing teacher and compassionate human and anyone in her class is lucky to have the benefit of being a student of Ms. Samantha Esposito. The impact she has on students and their families is so profound, she is someone you never forget.
