Traffic Advisory: Overnight Road Work On Route 27A This Week
The road work will take place between 5th Avenue and Saxon Avenue this week.
BAY SHORE, NY — For the rest of the week, drivers can expect overnight lane closures on State Route 27A in Bay Shore. The work, which started on Monday, includes milling and resurfacing of the road’s asphalt between 5th Avenue and Saxon Avenue.
From 10 p.m. until 6 a.m., westbound traffic will be detoured towards Union Boulevard while eastbound traffic will remain open with a traffic shift in place.
The closures are expected to be completed in one week. Work may be cancelled, postponed, or prolonged due to inclement weather.
