EAST ISLIP, NY —The 117 Deli in East Islip opened two weeks ago to a big reception in the town, where residents say deli options are limited.

Elisa Allevato and a partner totally revamped the former deli at 117 West Main St. and want residents to know it's a brand new, completely refurbished business, Allevato told Patch.

Allevato lives in North Babylon.
