EAST ISLIP, NY - The St. Patrick's Day parade will be kicking off in East Islip this weekend.
The event will take place on Sunday, March 4 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
During that time, the following roads will be closed:

- Montauk Highway between Heckscher Parkway and Irish Lane
- Carleton Avenue from Union Boulevard to Montauk Highway
- Irish Lane from Union Boulevard to Montauk Highway
Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
The 3rd annual event will be hosted by Hometown Cafe East Islip on 104 E Main Street.

Guests can enjoy the music of J Haus Band, drink specials, homemade corned beef sandwiches, smoked pulled pork sandwiches as well as hot dogs and potato soup under a heated tent.
