EAST ISLIP, NY - East Islip High School girls swimming star Camryn Kreuscher recently qualified for and competed in the New York State Championship in Ithaca, earning All-State and All-Long Island status.
She placed 12th overall in the 100-meter freestyle and 19th overall in the 200-meter freestyle; both were lifetime bests for Kreuscher in these events.
She also ranked 14th in the 200-meter freestyle relay and 20th overall in the 400-meter freestyle relay.

Kreuscher is a crucial component of the Connetquot/East Islip girls varsity swim team, who recently finished another successful season as dual meet champions and second-place finishers at the county meet for a third consecutive year.
