East Islip Volleyball Players Honored At Awards Dinner

Seven players were recognized at the dinner held last week.

EAST ISLIP, NY - The East Islip High School’s boys varsity volleyball team was recently honored at the Suffolk County Boys Volleyball Coaches Association’s annual awards dinner. The team was recognized for their terrific year at the event on Dec. 9.

A total of seven players were recognized. Gregory DeGeorge and Evan Kane were named All-County; Brandon Keaney was named All-Division; Jack Deehan, Yama Dorastin and Benjamin Hutter earned All-Division Honorable Mention; and Deehan, Josh Isacksen and Keaney received All-County Academic recognition.

"Congratulations to these seven athletes and to the entire team for its great success," Coach Laura O’Donnell said.
