1. Arlene Gross showcases a Hewlett Harbor house for sale. The legal two-family colonial is listed for $2.395 million. It has 6,754 square feet, eight bedrooms and is newly renovated. (Newsday)

3. Michael O'Keeffe reports that longtime North Woodmere resident Sylvia Kaminestky was honored Sunday. The North Woodmere Park Community Room was renamed to reflect the late resident's decades of volunteering and civic engagement in the area. Kaminestky died in November at age 87. (Newsday)

3. ABC 7 News has a story about a Cedarhurst boy who got a surprise birthday visit from Smiles Through Cars. The nonprofit cheered up Liev Sives on his tenth birthday with exotic cars. Firefighters and police officers stopped by. Liev's father, a NYPD officer, died last month. (ABC 7)

4. Newsday has the lowdown on Hewlett Harbor's upcoming elections. Four candidates are running for two two-year seats.
