Town of Islip Drive-In Movie Series Continues Monday

EAST ISLIP, NY — The Town of Islip Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs will once again be hosting the weekly Drive-In Movie Night Monday. The event will take place at Brookwood Hall on 50 Irish Lane in East Islip. This week's showing is the movie, Minions, which will begin at 8 p.m. Gates open at 7 p.m.

"Summertime is here, and while certain COVID-19 restrictions remain in place, Drive-In movies are a way for families to maintain social distancing while enjoying an evening together," Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter said.

Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for the Islip Food For Hope Food Pantry. The free series will run weekly through September, and movies will be shown at various locations throughout the town.
