$15K Generator Stolen From Huntington House: Police

The house was under construction when the generator was swiped, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the person or people who police said stole a generator from a Huntington house under construction in May.

A Generac Generator Model RGO3824ANAX was swiped from a house being built on Mount Misery Road sometime between May 16 and May 25, police said. The generator is valued at roughly $15,000, police said. The person or people who stole the machine are wanted for grand larceny.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
