4 Hospitalized In Huntington Collision
One of the drivers had to be freed from the wreckage of the two-car crash.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Four were injured in a two-car crash in Huntington on Monday morning, said public information officer Steve Silverman.
The collision happened on Park Avenue near Leslie Lane about 12:10 a.m., prompting a response from the Huntington Fire Department, Huntington Community First Aid Squad and Suffolk police.
Huntington firefighters used heavy rescue extrication tools to remove one of the drivers who was trapped in the wreckage, Silverman said. Four people suffered injuries and were hospitalized.

Huntington firefighters responded with a heavy rescue truck and an engine and were under the direction of Assistant Chief Sean Schwier, assisted by Deputy Chiefs Paul Smith and Matt Getter.
