A group of St. Hugh of Lincoln catechists recently attended the Catechetical Service awards ceremony held at St Agnes Cathedral in Rockville Centre and were presented with an award by the Most Rev. John C. Dunne.
Helen Poutier was presented the Bishop John R. McGann award (for at least 30 years of service) and Leslie Bellissimo, Claire Gaines, Thomasina Marchetta, Patricia Nardelli, Margaret O’Brien, Rita O’Malley Murphy, Kathy Sorensen, Laura Tyminski and Cynthia Yanez all received the St. Pius X. award (for at least 10 years of service).
