Candidates Night, School Board Meeting

Your guide to some of the events around Huntington.

The weather is cooling down and the leaves are changin with the temperatures. Expect sunshine today with a high of 65 degrees. Showers are predicted to roll in Tuesday and Wednesday, with the temperature taking a drop into the low 50s. The sun will peeking out from the clouds again on Friday.

--If you haven't yet attended one of the many candidates nights, you'll have another chance at 7 p.m. at the Harborfields Public Library. The League of Women Voters of Huntington, the Huntington Chamber of Commerce, and Huntington Leadership are cosponsoring a  Meet The Candidates Night for candidates running for Huntington supervisor, Town Board, and superintendent of highways. 

--The Huntington Board of Education meets at 7:30 p.m. at Jack Abrams school.

--Raise the Bar: Jon Taffer, co-producer and host of Spike TV's Bar Rescue, will speak and sign copies of his new book, Raise the Bar: An Action-Based Method for Maximum Customer Reactions, at the Book Revue, 7 p.m.
