Catpurrccinos Huntington Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Amber

HUNTINGTON, NY — Amber, an 11-year-old female cat, was named the Catpurrccinos Cat Cafe Pet of the Week.

Unlike the rest of the cats at Catpurrccinos, Amber is a former resident that is now in foster care, according to the Huntington-based rescue Feral to Family.

"Due to Amber's older age of 11 years old, an environment with many playful kittens was not for her, and gets to now be the queen of the household in her new care!," the Catpurrccinos staff told Patch. "Her favorite thing in the world is having a lap to lay on and be loved by the people around her. Although she is no longer at the cafe, she is still part of the Catpurrccinos family and is still looking for her forever home! While Amber is no longer at the eatery, its cattery is again open for public visits.

The cafe is at 322 Main St. in Huntington Village, open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cafe opens at 9 a.m. daily if you would like to come earlier and enjoy a treat or craft coffee beverage before meeting with your future feline friend!
