HUNTINGTON, NY — Cheyenne, a 10-month-old female domestic shorthair tuxedo kitten, was named the Catpurrccinos Cat Cafe Pet of the Week. She has been with the Huntington-based Feral to Family cat rescue for most of her life; and the Catpurrccinos staff doesn't know why; the organizers of the nonprofit also run the cat cafe.

"She is incredibly outgoing, loves meeting new people, and is a pro at playing and cuddling alike," the cat cafe told Patch via email. "This special girl will also jump (yes-jump!) into your arms for a hug. Cheyenne is a spirited girl who is so full of love. She may be large for her age, but she still is a kitten and definitely has a kitten mentality. She loves attention and would make a great friend to anyone who adopts her. "

The food portion of Catpurrccinos Cat Cafe is temporarily closed, according to its website. If you're interested in adopting Cheyenne and giving her a forever home, email info@catpurrccinos.com with any questions, or call the cafe's temporary Google phone number at 631-647-0174, but a voicemail must be left. The cafe is at 322 Main St., Huntington Village.
