Catpurrccinos Huntington Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Mia
"Mama" Mia, a 1-and-a-half-year-old female cat, was named the Huntington Village cat cafe's featured pet of the week.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Mia, a 1-and-a-half-year-old female, was named the Catpurrccinos Cat Cafe Pet of the Week. Mia, or as the Huntington-based Feral to Family cat rescue likes to call her, "Mama Mia," is currently at the cat cafe in the village. Mia was the mama cat to four kittens who were all recently adopted.
"Mia was first trapped, she was very sick, unsure if she would survive for very long," the cafe, which temporarily closed during the coronavirus, told Patch. "During our closure, we turned our cattery vet room into a lounge for just her to gain back health, and she did just that! After becoming healthy, Mia spent the first month under our desk where she felt safe, with a comfy bed and lots of attention. She ALWAYS enjoyed to be pet and loved her food served to her directly as she was still extremely shy.
"Fast forward to now, Mia still spends lots of time under the desk relaxing, but can also be found on a cat tree, roaming around, or better yet, rubbing her head into the hands of one of our guests! Mia is searching for unconditional love in her forever home."
