HUNTINGTON, NY — Peanut, a 1-and-a-half-year-old domestic shorthair bi-color tabby, was named the Catpurrccinos Cat Cafe Pet of the Week.

The Huntington cat cafe named her Peanut because of how adorable and tiny she was as a kitten when staff found her.

"Peanut is really coming out of her shell (pun intended) at the cafe," Catpurrccinos wrote. "Her sweet nature shines through her delicate meows and chirps. She likes to be pet and adored more than she likes to play, and will even sit in your lap or beside you! Peanut would make a perfect companion for anyone, but especially someone who will take the time to make her feel special, loved, and safe."
