Cub Scout Takes Top Prize in Pinewood Derby Competion

Dylan Sattar, a Cub Scout with Pack 253 in Oyster Bay, scored first place for speed in this year’s Pinewood Derby Race-car Competition as part of the Theodore Roosevelt Council.

Sattar, a Webelo 1, has been extremely dedicated to his scouting activities this year. Together with his father, he worked diligently on the race car for months, mostly focusing on speed.

The Cub Scout also won third place for design.
