South Huntington Public Library, Friends of the Library, meets to discuss the Friends application to be designated a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization. Part of this process resulted in revisions to the bylaws, which must be voted on by the membership. The changes are not to policy or procedure; rather, the bylaws have been rewritten into more formal, legal language.
