Filmmaker Heads to Cinema Arts Centre
Mary Dore, director of 'She's Beautiful When She's Angry' will speak in Huntington March 25.

Huntington’s Cinema Arts Centre will be screening “She’s Beautiful When She’s Angry,” which examines the evolution of the women’s rights movement and the establishment of NOW over the last 50 years, on Wednesday March 25.
The filmmaker, Mary Dore, will speak at the event with a small reception to follow.
The documentary follows the “founding of NOW, with ladies in hats and gloves, to the emergence of more radical factions of women’s liberation; from intellectuals like Kate Millett to the street theatrics of WITCH (Women’s International Conspiracy from Hell!),” according to the film’s description.
