Guns, Cash Seized In Huntington Station; 2 Men Arrested: Police

A Huntington Station man was charged with selling drugs and police said they seized $100,000 after searching five homes.

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — Two men were arrested Wednesday on drug and gun charges after Suffolk police searched five Huntington Station homes.

Officers and detectives executed five search warrants and seized two handguns and $100,000 at the following locations, police said:

  • 123 First Ave., Apt. 307
  • 123 First Ave., Apt. 308
  • 76 East 9th St.
  • 211 East 17th St.
  • 66A East 8th St.

Faheem Chapman, 27, of Huntington Station, was charged with four counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. Marques Cheek, 20, of Bay Shore, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Chapman and Cheek were held overnight at the Second Precinct and are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Thursday.
