GREENLAWN, NY — Harborfields High School is among the nation's 500 best, according to the U.S. News & World Report’s annual list.

This year’s "Best High Schools" edition ranked nearly 18,000 public high schools and included states that graduated the highest percentage of students. Harborfields came in at #369 in the country.

The methodology for ranking the top high schools was developed with a core principle in mind: that the top schools must serve all students well and must produce measurable academic outcomes that support this mission. The rankings consider students taking at least one AP Exam, passing an AP exam, proficiency in math and reading, and graduation rate.
