Harborfields HS Recognizes DECA Regional Winners And Finalists

GREENLAWN, NY — Harborfields High School’s DECA Club competed virtually in the annual Regional DECA Competition in December, according to the school district.

More than 1,000 students from across Suffolk County participated in various competitions, including business and entertainment marketing, tourism and finance.

DECA’s mission is to prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management. Most DECA students are in business classes at Harborfields High School, such as career awareness, college marketing and college accounting.

The Harborfields Central School District congratulated the following students, as well as DECA advisor Harman Kaur and business teachers Alison Matthews and Richard Mottl.
