Haunted Archives Open At Huntington Town Hall

HUNTINGTON, NY — All Hallow’s Month at the Hauntington Town Clerk’s Archives is officially underway. Supervisor Chad A. Lupinacci and Town Clerk Jo-Ann Raia opened the event to the public on Tuesday afternoon.
On all Tuesdays and Fridays this October from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., as well as Halloween, residents can enjoy guided tours of Huntington's Haunted History at Huntington Town Hall, 100 Main St.

Lupinacci is eager to see how the exhibit is received.
"During the excitement of the Hauntington renaming last year, my staff reached out to the Town Clerk to collaborate on incorporating some of Huntington's haunted history documented in the Archives for this year," he said. "It was fitting, as Halloween occurs at the end of Archives Month, which takes place every October. The stories of the records in the Archives may be of interest to teens, adults, history buffs – even ghost hunters!
