Huntington Boys Lacrosse Team Improves To 6-0

The Blue Devils will try to remain undefeated when they play Sachem North on Monday afternoon.

HUNTINGTON, NY — The Huntington Blue Devils boys lacrosse team will look to improve its record to 7-0 on Monday when the team faces Sachem North, the school district announced.

The squad won its sixth straight game, topping Connetquot on the road on Saturday, 12-7. The victory kept Huntington in first place in Suffolk Division I.

Robbie Smith had three goals and two assists, while Liam Lennon and Jack Krisch both added three goals and an assist to pace the Blue Devil attack. Chris Maichin tallied a goal and an assist. Jack O’Brien and Harrison Krywak also scored goals in the game. Liam Hassett contributed three assists.

Aidan Carrello, Anthony Annuniziata and Krisch each scooped up a team-high three ground balls. Annuniziata won nine face-offs. Goalie Alex Fascilla made 17 saves.

The Blue Devils are scheduled to take the field against Sachem North at 5 p.m. Monday.
