Huntington Cougars Capture over 60 Softball Title

The Huntington Cougars captured the Div 2 LISSA Senior Softball Championship Last week at Allen Park in Farmingdale.

The Cougars swept the first round of the best of 3 series at Manor field from the Hempstead Admirals by the scores of 10-4 and 16-1 which then launched them into final round .

They then battled a best of 3 final series against the Hempstead Dodgers winning the first game 18-8, dropping the second 7-3 and then winning the tight 3rd game 17-13 to capture the title.
