Huntington Falls To Garden City In LI Baseball Championship Game

The Blue Devils emerged as the best team in Suffolk County but could not take home the Long Island championship on Sunday.

UNIONDALE, NY — The Huntington High School baseball team's magical run came to a halt on Sunday.

The Blue Devils, after winning the Suffolk championship for the first time since 1960, lost to Garden City for the Long Island Conference II championship game, 5-3, according to the Huntington Union Free School District.

Huntington's Suffolk title was earned in a 7-4 Blue Devils win over Bay Shore.
