These mothers, who make sacrifices to ensure the well-being of their children, deserve extra Mother's Day recognition, Lupinacci says.

Mothers of children with autism and other special needs were recently given special recognition for everything they do by Town of Huntington and Oyster Bay officials.
A Mother's Day reception for these mothers was held on Friday at Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. (FREE) headquarters in Old Bethpage.
