Huntington Lacrosse Boys Await Opponent In Division I Playoffs
The No. 1-seeded Blue Devils are set to host the winner of Sachem East and Sachem North on Friday.
HUNTINGTON, NY — The No. 1-seeded Huntington boys lacrosse team is awaiting its first opponent in the Section XI Division I playoff bracket, according to the district.
The Blue Devils are slated to host the winner of an opening-round match-up between No. 8 Sachem East and No. 9 Sachem North. Huntington is due to play at 4 p.m. Friday.
Whichever team wins Friday's match will advance to the county semifinals set for 4 p.m. Monday. Should Huntington win, it would host the Monday semifinal game at Blue Devil Stadium.

The Blue Devils finished the season with a record of 12-2. In the regular season, Huntington defeated Sachem North 7-6 and Sachem East 11-8. Both wins came on the road. Sachem North finished the season 5-8, while Sachem East was 7-7.
The two Sachem teams are set to duel at 4 p.m. Tuesday, according to Section XI.
