Huntington Memorial Day Parade Is On: What To Know

HUNTINGTON, NY — Huntington's Memorial Day Parade is a go for Monday.

The parade, organized by the American Legion Huntington Post 360, is set to line up at the municipal parking lot across from the Huntington Post office at 10 a.m. The march is slated to begin at 11 a.m.

The parade will make a left turn out of the parking lot onto West Neck Road, head south to Main Street, make a left turn onto Main Street before heading east to Stewart Avenue. The parade will end with a left turn onto Stewart Avenue.

A wreath-laying ceremony is planned at the Soldiers & Sailors Mount.

Road closures are expected between 11 a.m. and noon in Huntington Village for the parade, according to the Town of Huntington. Gerard Street and West Neck Road to Main Street and Stewart Avenue are due to be closed.
