Huntington Police Blotter: Best Buy Employee Steals From Store

ALSO: A man was arrested twice in a few days after he was accused of entering the same apartment building without permission, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — These are recent arrests made in the Huntington area from May 16 through May 22.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Christopher Muller, 51, of Lindenhurst, entered an apartment on Green Street without permission three separate times between May 15 and 16, police said. Muller also had possession of a stolen check and was arrested, police said. On May 19, he entered the same apartment building without permission and was arrested again, police said. He was arrested on May 17 and charged with second-degree criminal trespass and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and arrested on May 19 and charged with second-degree criminal trespass.
  • Darren Dobson, 24, of Hempstead, while working at Best Buy in Huntington Station, stole multiple Apple iPhones, a pair of Apple AirPods and two Ring doorbell chimes, police said. The thefts took place between April 27 and May 6, police said. He was arrested and charged with third-degree grand larceny on May 18.
